You were never too much, sis. Decentering Men, Reclaiming Self is a reflection journal for women who are ready to stop shrinking, performing, and over-functioning in the name of being chosen. This isn’t about finding the right man. It’s about remembering who you are when you stop revolving around them. Through real talk, powerful prompts, and no-fluff self-examination, this journal helps you: Unlearn the belief that your worth depends on desirability Identify the emotional labor, people-pleasing, and pick-me patterns that have drained you Reclaim your standards, boundaries, and self-devotion Explore the freedom, fullness, and peace of choosing yourself—without guilt Whether you're single, dating, healing, or done altogether, this journal is not about becoming harder to get. It’s about becoming unavailable to anyone who requires your self-betrayal. You don’t need to be chosen. You need to come home to yourself.
Can't wait to start working through this! Quality is gorgeous and the content is thought provoking and inspiring!

I actually ordered this for my best friend but I am thinking about ordering it for myself after flipping through the pages. 💜

The author has managed to create a respectful, open conversation with me as a reader, while she presents a clear position in beautifully rigorous language.
This journal invites me to imagine a healed, whole future in which non-men exist fully and happily, without regard to men.
I bought "Decentering Whiteness- For White People" at the same time, because I KNOW that patriarchy, misgynoir, misogyny, and queer phobia are just faces of the beast of supremacism.

Thank you so much for making these workbooks! The books themselves are wide-ruled on personal reflection pages, which are excellent for those who might need the extra space (and who write small) to really get all your thoughts out. The artwork for the cover is minimalist and gorgeous, and the prompts are thought-provoking.
Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
I was worried I might’ve gotten it to small but it fits me pretty well big belly and all

I am still working through the book. It takes a lot of reflection and serious thought to answer the questions on each page. It’s been so good for me. But I also feel like I’m kind of in a vacuum. I wish I was doing this with a group of people. I also have to live with the fact that while it’s doing some wonderful things for me and how I view the world and and my role in it, I also realized that I’m pissing off some of the people that live in my world with me. Because they’re tired of hearing about it. But that’s OK. They’re gonna keep hearing about it.
