I’m making this a priority going forward and I love this book. Sometimes uncomfortable but I’m pretty sure that’s the point.

Great resource for decentering whiteness

While the entire workbook was incredibly educational, I really valued the affirmations that gave me simple phases to understand and confront myself + others.

It can be difficult to understand how to navigate your way out of an ideology in which you have been deeply conditioned *AND* advantaged your entire life. I found the mix of reaffirmations & accountability thought exercises very helpful. I'm still learning how to be a neighbor & ally In Fact, & to longer patting myself on the back for what amounted to little more than a loosely-held principle. I meant well, but now I mean to do better. Thank you, K. Bryant, for the effort you put into this book, & for offering it to people seeking guidance.

Its a great work book for anyone willing to hear the message, be uncomfortable and grow.
